i kept trying to figure who the guy’s voice and vocal style reminded me of, coming up with a bunch of people that didn’t really work, eventually deciding he’s his own thing–as all things are. but he still sounded familiar somehow. then the last track came and i realized what he reminded of was him, because somehow i know “can’t keep anything” and nothing else by him.
