Hacks, Hardware & Emulation, Oh My

I’ve yet to find a PSP battery that doesn’t do this. So I use my Vita Slim for my PSP needs & my original PSP sadly sits hidden away in storage. I’m hoping one of these days someone creates an actual great battery, or finds a way to easily mod them and change to rechargeable or something.

I am surprised our old PSP battery hasn’t swelled like this yet. I check it from time to time, so thanks for the reminder. I’ll check it again later.

RE Battery Swelling – don’t store your handhelds / systems / controllers / remotes / vibrators / robot dinosaurs / whatever with the batteries in them, it all ends up like this (or corrosion/leaks) eventually. If it’s not going to be in use, get that battery out of there.

It feels lame to have to be like “gotta do the putting it away checklist now”… but you need a putting it away checklist.

Noted. Thanks! I definitely put it away planning to play it again soon, then next thing you know it’s months later and all swole up. Will for sure be more diligent moving forward.

Just ordered a couple replacement Ostent batteries.
