@“hellomrkearns”#p35612 almost came here to post this, but I figured you would have already! Night Tempo has such a fantastic collection.
I had this one in university, but in red. Can't find a good picture of it.

@hellomrkearns that toblerone design reminds me of Neil Young and his Pono player

@hellomrkearns also reminds me of this old MP3 player I had (in red!) that also opened to reveal a usb connector. Such great simple design…still have it around here somewhere.

I wish this Sharp made SNES/TV combo went just a little harder on some weird aesthetics because it's such a cool concept! The box is just a tad boring imo.
@Syzygy first time I played BLACKTHORNE was on one of those. And I got less time than I would have wanted. My mind was blown. I became obsessed and didn’t find it until much later.
LODGENET

@“sabertoothalex”#p36911 wowww i didn’t know there was a LodgeNet GameCube. I remember having a blast playing through Pokémon Snap with my sister on one of the N64 models
The one I played Blackthorne with was an N64 controller. It's extremely cool because, while the controller you interface with could apparently be anything, most would assume emulation was being used, but the way it works was an early version of what is now popularized as stream-gaming. There was a hub on site that had real console hardware and would broadcast gameplay to the CRT in your hotel room. Absolutely amazing if you ask me.
@“treefroggy”#p36927 oh, that’s pretty amazing, actually! I was wondering how these worked, but that makes the most sense. It’s pretty impressive how lag-free the experience was.
