Oh yes, I have audio processing issues and I hear things wrong so often that I purposely use the wrong idioms. Like six dozen of one half the other.

@FishHead that is an excellent saying and one I’m going to incorporate into my own vernacular. I commonly forget that Germany has such a good run at modernism for a while as my foci are so ardently American and French

“In a dog’s age” meaning a long span of time. Ex: I haven’t had BBQ in a dog’s age.
