@Video_Game_King I‘m cautiously optimistic, but I have found the whole thing just to be a little weird. Maybe I’m wrong, but is there any info on this project besides this incredibly bare twitter account that pops up on my timeline every now and then? And seems to have deleted all tweets/screenshots more than a few weeks old?
Not that whoever is behind this owes anyone updates or anything like that. Believe me, it's better than other efforts that feel the need to let you know "the script is 3.63% done" or "will be released as soon as we figure out a way to actually insert text into the game", but it just feels a little unconventional.
@Video_Game_King Titles are I think one of the more difficult things to nail, but I agree with you. Personally I think “Beneath” is more elegant than “Under,” but that‘s kinda nitpicky. “Legends” to me also implies a long history, like a mythologically Legendary tree, whereas “Tree of Legend” might be more quaint in the way you suggest, while still keeping a subtle pomposity that I think is appropriate. So I might’ve gone with “Beneath the Tree of Legend.” Although tbh the more I overthink this the more I wonder if I'm just inventing nuances in my head…
Warriors: Legend of the Blue Dragon - The Two Heroes [Note that the box art has the word Bushi written in romaji, but it gets translated as Warriors anyway.]
Their translation pages also include walkthrough information and the kind of gameplay descriptions one would expect from a 90s magazine? It's all very strange, like they're trying to build a brand off their work.
I’m no professional (or amateur) translator, but it really seems like the only options here are just keeping The Name (my preference) or going full hog-wild Dragon Quest on that title, baby.
As such, my choice would be Sweetheart Memories: Beneath Storied Boughs.
on the Action Button discord there are a couple folks actively working on the PC version with extensive notes. Tim saw it and said if delivered a spreadsheet, he would translate the whole thing for free in 3 to 6 months.
Tokimeki Memorial Hospital finally receives a complete English translation
> While it may not be for the PC-Engine CD original, this patch for the 1996 Super Famicom port comes fully loaded with several MSU-1 enhancements such as partial voice acting, an animated video intro, and a voiced ending song.
I feel like Tim went on a lot about the PSX version being the definitive one, anyone know if there are any significant differences between that and the Saturn version?
@MegaSigil I think he also said something about the background being 60fps. IMHO I will always take a saturn version over a playstation version, this was a powerful move. And in the case of tokimeki memorial hospital, I think that playstation or saturn or even pc engine are all preferable to sufami which got an english patch first.
