Zangief would hold out his hand and ask “may I have this dance?” and take his babushka’s tiny hands just ever so gently, and as they dance he would loudly say something like “you dance graceful like a swan, young lady!” and do the little ballroom twirl without barely even needing to raise his arm above his shoulder, and he’d lead her back to her seat once she gets tired, parting the crowd ahead of her her like she’s the guest of honour, and blush when she kisses his cheek
