I’m going to say apples, the most symbolic fruit of Abrahamic tradition.

All the western RPGs have apples you can eat, even the recent Zelda games.

Pac-Man

Any games with this at the startup:

I’m including wumpa fruits, so all the Crashy Bandicooty games too.

It’s bananas.

  • Many of the ones people most know are imported
  • There are lots of ways to prepare them
  • Lots of comedy locked up in there (slip on a peal, “appeal” puns, so on)
  • Quintessential collectible fruit from Pac Man to Donkey Kong
  • Donkey Kong

Also, Pac-Man does not have a banana. Ms. Pac-Man has a banana.

But both games have an apple.
