i think one of the reasons i appreciate limmy so much is i have to concentrate super fucking hard the entire time to understand what he’s saying

the falconhoof/adventure call series of sketches are great and somewhat videogame-adjacent

and i dunno the specific reference but i guess in the uk in the '80s there really was some kind of tv show that was basically a live narrated infocom-style text adventure along these lines?

It’s a bit based on that I think, but you did have call in things like that on TV shows.

Now I’ve seen the video it reminds me more of when you’d have a premium rate number to call and you’d answer questions live on air to win a prize. Very big in the late 90s.

But still Knightmare is better!

Lammy was too hardcore for America. They wouldn’t even let her go to hell.

Feels weird that I’ve been watching Limmy’s stuff for two decades now.

I think about this one often

I thought about it today in regards to this great lil story -which absolutely has Limmy energy-:

There once was a person on Insert Credit
With a backlog as deep as the Baltic Sea Pit
They played weird games
And shared cool things
What a rad thing, this digital friendship

Limmy has started playing Disco Elysium on Twitch/Youtube. He was sceptical at first but was pretty swiftly won over, now he is saying he will play it until the end, which at his current pace should be sometime in 2026.
