This group, Okumura, reached out to the devs about contributing to the game after they saw the initial teaser trailer — A collaboration was born and they wrote a number of original songs to help build out the story and themes of each moment they pop up in.
Such a cool addition to the storytelling. Sure beats a text dump.
There are so many good tracks from Sword & Sworcery, Jim Guthrie really nailed it.

One of the people involved in this, Marc Papeghin, did a Final Fantasy 9 medley that I like very much.
I love a lot of the music across phantasy star. This reworking from phantasy star online is a particular favourite. There’s just something about those lonesome, trebly, fragile, insubstantial electronic keyboard flourishes that’s somehow soulful to me. It really gets at the core of the aesthetic, the particular blending of fantasy & sci-fi I think
