@KingTubb Oh yeah that’s a pretty bizarre one. There’s another skeleton out there (maybe in the game where you’re a fish?) that calls you the f-slur. Which I was pretty shocked by; I didn’t remember that sort of thing being in the game. I don’t think it’s included with any malice, but it’s there. That fish game is also extremely vulgar in a weird way, now that I think about it. I wonder if it’s the same author for both.
I’ve been really enjoying going through the games again. There’s such a broad level of quality throughout, where some are just one joke and others are legitimately interesting, which seems like what would happen if you tried to make one game every day. I just did Horace and The Plant recently and that’s a real good one.
Got another session in last night. The game feels very early internet to me. There's a lot more edge and raunchiness overall than I was ever expecting, including weird nude RPG maker sprites and a whole game about building your own sex slave.
Still been playing through games. So many of them have a little idea or a little piece of writing that is just awesome. And as you start playing more and more games, and especially if you walk around the museum, you can see definite styles from all the authors. It’s cool!
I’ve started collecting those weird occult things you get for doing the masked figure stuff. I’ve also started the alien stuff, but I haven’t made much progress there. I’ve also DDR’d the cafe.
The Orange Room is something I truly wouldn‘t mind having spoiled for me. Maybe I’m just a dummy.
Game is pretty funny!!! I've been making my way through them and my favorite set has been the Bird People set, each of those had me rolling. I REALLY love the museum aspect and RPG microgames are something I haven't experienced yet. The running zombie-fighting Doctor gag has been bringing me a lot of joy.
The Orange Room: I knew after giving it some thought that you won’t be able to figure out the code. Even if you figured out what’s the pattern you must follow you are never actually given a hint on how to turn that pattern into a 5 digit code. The solution is basically which order you see the events of the room, using the “Minutes later/earlier” as a guide. If we consider the room with the door as the first digit and the zeroth minute, then:
The next time you enter the room you jump two minutes, for a total of 2 minutes spent in the room.
The third time you enter the room you jump another two minutes, for a total of 4 minutes spent in the room.
The fourth time you enter the room you rewind 3 minutes, back to when you spent 1 minute in the room.
And the fifth time you enter the room you jump two minutes again, for a total of 3 minutes spent in the room.
The next time you enter the room you loop back to the start. Making the code 02413.
