Someone that I think would be fun to have (though I am a bit bias given it’s in my hometown) is someone from the Strong Museum of Play in Rochester, NY. I think Frank went there a few months ago for a game preservation symposium (if social media is true).
They’re doing some good work there with preserving games both video and analog alike, run their own Video Game Hall of Fame, and their recent major expansion was focused on video games specifically. They even have a whole exhibit on Age of Empires II.

I have really started to enjoy the videos about the gaming industry Kyle Bosman makes most weeks. He seems to have really smart analysis and a lot of knowledge, I think he would be a great guest sometime.

Bossman did always strike me as the most insert credit-y gaming news guy outside of insert credit. I think he let his more jaded side show a little bit after leaving Easy Allies, and I don’t think it’s a bad thing. I don’t want to pigeonhole IC into “aging jaded videogame journalists”, but … let’s be honest it is definitely a part of the appeal.
