SALE thread

I’m doing everything I can to Be Normal About This and y’all aren’t helping (…joking… lol)

Anybody want some of the magnetic cylinders and steel balls? They’re just toys for tinkerers. They’re kind of a pain because they don’t like to key their structure until they’re are the right shape to do so. When they collapse they stick to each other like magnets do. They are cool looking though. The price is just the cost of shipping. There’s about enough to make 4 or 5 of these polyhedrons. Maybe more but I’m not counting

Yours for the cost of shipping. I’ll ship overseas but I probably won’t be worth your money. I’m in the Illinois for reference. You only have to pay me when you get the package. I’m always on the honor system with anything I sell.

Edit: I know this is in the video games board but it seems silly to make another for sale thread.

Yeah, it’s nuts. The clam shells are probably going crazy because there’s no reasonable way to emulate it and still have it be portable. I definitely had a double monitor setup for a while but it still sucks to use a mouse for the bottom touch screen while also using a controller. The only clamshell emulation decide I know about was like 800 dollars. Definitely keep holing into them because the price will only go up until there’s a solution and there might never be one with Nintendo levels of litigation.

It’s also going to get worst as our country gets worst and we increasingly rely on avoidant techniques like nostalgia of a time when our entertainment was more effective at blocking our feelings with simulated joy. I’m holding on to a enough to sell so I can buy other trash for sure

…so you’re saying i shouldn’t hold my breath for an analogue pocket dual screen, eh? it’s always been an outside hope (as you said, no idea how you’d run it docked, for one) but man, the DS & 3DS library is just tremendous, and i’d leap at any chance to play some of that on a portable with better resolutions/save states etc

I really want one too. I think the most realistic path would be a usb c powered screen that locks onto a steam deck. It would bypass Nintendos ability so sue and be not that expensive. The biggest problem is you wouldn’t be able to charge your streaming while in use.

ANTOSHA NEEDS A M1ST3R MEGA SALE
(Or trade)

Viture AR glasses last gen SOLD
On the block are:
Pokémon Red
Pokémon Y
Pokémon X
LBW edition 4DS that’s one whole extra D and at no extra charge
PS Vita 3g/wifi with 32gb card and launch case
Metroid Samus Returns
Dark Souls 2 steel box launch edition
(The case is scuffed and dented to a small degree) god condition
FFIV Advance

What I would love is to trade an appropriate amount of these things for the mister with cash if need be mixed in. I know the chances of this are low. So if you know somebody or are that person let me know. I’ve curated this selection for this forum so shoot me a reasonable price and we’ll most likely have a deal. I’m not looking to gouge so maybe between a low price and the eBay price would be good.

If you’re a regular poster I will ship anything to you and then you pay me upon receipt.

AND one lucky person with receive a copy of NIER for the Xbox 360. That’s right! The 360!

It’s funny that you included pokemon red in the list, cause when I wanted a SiSTer fpga i financed it by selling a single copy of pokemon soulsilver. (this was when the terassic boards where cheaper than rn, but also now we have the clones so you can easily finance one with all these things)

I’d go for the Vita if wasn’t in money saving mode right now

I need to back away from retro[sic] physical games. The prices are just grotesque

On one hand, I’m not a ‘steelbook’ guy at all, not in the slightest. On the other hand, I’m extremely a Dark Souls II guy, and a “people should get a MiSTer if they can” guy. Much to think about.

Exactly the same. I usually don’t care but I imported demons souls, played the holy heck out of dark souls so I couldn’t resist when 2 came out.

Also if anybody has a full frame digital camera that they don’t use, I need one. My asp-c Sony is not going to cut it for a project. I’d buy it at a high price.

Found!

It kinda sounds like The Y2K Collector answered their own astonishment a bit there at the end. If there is a significant amount of value dissonance for a thing, it will garner the attentions of entities that want to get a cut of that profit without having interest in the thing their selling. It sucks for sure but it feels like a growing spar of capitalism in the US.

Yeah, dumb video for sure, I mean, rationally and stuff I have answers for the complaints. Still, emotionally, mad relatable.

Not dumb at all. It’s was cool to hear their perspective/position. And I really like how conversational their tone is. It also got me to dig through my old handheld’s box!

It’s why I’m getting out of physical for old games. I have money and feel priced out. I still shop my local game store but I do not buy popular old games there. Only the terrible unpopular ones. Also there’s a copy of drakengard for 30 there is anybody wants it. I’d ship it in a padded envelope via media mail and cover that cost.
