@“hellomrkearns”#p123103 I really (actually) appreciate that they continued the time honored tradition of making character-based controllers super ugly. It probably wasn't what they intended to do but it makes it feel like the real deal.
I saw Hiroshi Tanahashi on my YouTube subscriptions and didn't bat an eye at first because as a wrestling fan, I am used to seeing him all the time and then saw this was uploaded by SNK and did a double take. In theory SNK sponsoring the G1 tournament, featuring Hiroshi Tanahashi, and doing a New Japan Pro Wrestling x King of Fighters colab should be my favorite thing ever because it combines two of my favorite things, but ever since SNK got bought almost completely by the Saudi Arabian government I just cannot get excited about anything they do anymore and cannot in good conscience ever give them money again.
I am at least very excited for the G1 this year.

Because I grew up playing sonic pocket adventure, it’s my favorite sonic game, and that clicky stick of the portable will always be linked with / what makes the most sense for 2d sonic games! Always wanted the neogeo pocket stick in a console controller, looking forward to this for that very reason! Sonic mania will probably feel awesome with it.
@“exodus”#p123117 I just saw this comment and am reminded that when I pre-ordered two of these, I immediately put a plain black one in my cart and then looked at each of the character controllers like 10 times feeling like I should get a different one, but I just couldn't do it.
