Yeah! I used that same fractal north case when I built mine last year. I also have mine on a cart.

Those cases look so nice! I definitely donāt use a mousepad and Iām not sure if Iām āsupposedā to? 
is not using one somehow harming my mouse?
I only have one monitor on here because right behind me is a stationary trainer bike in front of an enormous wall mounted screen thatās technically the second monitor (for Zwift+watching anime while using the trainer)

Youāre mostly fine without a mouse pad, just donāt be too surprised if after a couple years you notice a bright spot in your desk where the laminate has been worth away. The little pads on the bottom of your mouse will also wear away, but thatāll take a very long time. Iāve only seen that once on crappy mice at my old job where PCs were in use nearly 24/7 on a textured desk.
Does the monitor to the side not hurt your neck?

light isnāt good right now (window next to desk) so I took the pics in raw and adjusted them a bit to make everything more viewable.

Thank you for posting this! My tower is directly on carpet to my great shame - mainly because I couldnāt find anything to go under it. This little guy from Ikea looks the business to raise it just a smidge.

You caught me at the best time for this. I just moved out of a van and had to rewire (splice) all my 12v power supplies, and I just watched serial experiments lain for the first time, and Iāve been acquiring so many CRTs. Hereās my x220 dock setup right now under the desk:
