So it's come to this: Show Me Anything Nintendo

There is apparently a whole competitive diorama making scene in the Animal Crossing New Horizons fandom. (So competitive that it does not let me embed the video!?)

Here's my Greenhouse Game & Watch. Picked it up for a reasonable price at my local video game store last year as a little treat. I love it.

looks to me like he's got his fire flower loadout and is ready to kill

@“KennyL”#p52920 That first photo feels like it comes from an alternate reality in which Nintendo became an authoritarian “communist” regime.

Yoshi's Crafted World is cute as heck. I find it to be a pretty chill time, though not nearly interesting enough for me to do everything the game has to offer.

Microsoft-Zenimax-Activision-Blizzard-King’s very own Banjo-Kazooie is now available on the N64 app of the Switch and the Japanese blog of Nintendo celebrated this by sharing high quality scans(!) of articles written about the game in Tokuma Shoten’s 64 DREAM magazine. You can access the scans by pressing the red buttons in the article. 64 DREAM then changed its name to the more evergreen name Nintendo DREAM and is still published to this day.

I clicked on this video thinking it'd be another one of those novelty projects where someone goes through a pretty simple modding process to do something not especially impressive. That was before I knew how obtuse the Virtual Boy is. Turns out this became a pretty large, in-depth collaborative project among quite a few dedicated modders in the scene! Love to see advancements like this

@“AbandonedRocketship”#p54457 Game & Watch/early 80s era Nintendo is my favourite Nintendo, aesthetically.

The Game & Watch themselves, the arcade cabinets, Famicom cartridge art etc

I have a particular fondness for terrified Mario holding a bomb in Mario’s Bombs Away G&W

Context: My buddy shooped non-Italian versions of the Mario Bros. after I joked that they'd be called the Super Murray Bros.

@“pasquinelli”#p55972 Ya know, I used to think Tim Dillon was just some a-hole, but then my friend sat me down to watch a bunch of his material and it turns out that he's brilliant. His bit about how anyone can just fake their way to success in real estate was just insane and incredible.
