Tell me anything

I learned a new word: dappled. It is like speckled or spotted.

I think it is cute.

Whenever Iā€™m making hot dogs or burgers, if I have an extra bun, I will put condiments on it, say the words ā€œitā€™s rich in bunly goodnessā€ to myself and eat it.

Uhhhhh am I crazy or has basically nobody said a word online about Koufukusousakan on PS2? (å¹øē¦ę“ä½œå®˜ roughly ā€œHappiness Operatorā€) I might need toā€¦

I know Texas has had a lot of natural disasters over the last few years, but it really is a shame Tropical Storm Debby isnā€™t gonna pass through Dallas.

Also I wonder if they chose to spell Debby with the ā€œyā€ instead of the ā€œieā€ on the off chance it did?

Overheard a small group of 30 somethings talking about Barkley Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden at the park. Now I want to replay it.

Does anyone know if Charles Barkley ever acknowledged the gameā€™s existence?

You know that compacted green sludge cartoons use to represent garbage? In both texture and flavor, burgers taste like the real life version of that.

A cursory search only yields a 16 year old gamefaqs thread asking the same question with no answer.

I wouldnā€™t blame him if he didnā€™t want to acknowledge the gameā€™s existenceā€“itā€™s a documentary from the future after all, and it is a harrowing future indeed

I have become fully dish glovepilled, kinda. A few months ago I picked up some biodegradable nitrile gloves for stuff, and one day started wearing them while I take care of chores around the house. Then I tried washing some dishes with them on, and I shall not go back. Iā€™m not new to dish gloves but actual dish gloves are so big and floppy and clumsy so I never liked to use them. These are so much thinner and closer to the skin (and available in black). No more dry or oily hands for me.

Even if theyā€™re bio-plastic I still donā€™t like disposable stuff if I can help it, so if there is a brand of reusable dish glove out there that doesnā€™t suck, shout it out!!

Interesting - curious which ones youā€™re using now (though I agree disposable is no good) as I wait until I can afford a dish washer. (dish washers are good since they save water)

These ones are by Showa.

Is trader joes the worst commonplace shopping experience? I think it is. Customer base of self-absorbed yuppies and suburbanites with poor situational awareness who over-use shopping carts (you donā€™t need all that use a basket) and then take weird angles all over the place. Free samples further clogging traffic. Plus narrow aisles. Cashiers who try to be personable. Ironically, Aldi is the inverse and smooth sailing every time

The Trader Joeā€™s used to go to in Manhattan had the customer-base you refer to, but otherwise it was a frictionless experience. The check-out line nearly always stretched throughout the entire store, so I just got in line and did my shopping as the line progressed. I just had to really know my list, because there was no going back.

trader joes is a ā€œtreats goodies and morselsā€ store for adults which is why i find it annoying but also why i go there sometimes so who am i to judge

i went in one time looking for canned fish and found none, so theyā€™re none of my concern.
