I had my first experience with a Book-off carrying nothing older than PS4 games except for some DS and 3DS games, two shelves worth. No sfc at all even.
I feel like I’ve seen the future (T2 skeleton on chainlink) and am reinvigorated to continue to scan the shelves that I can, while it is still even possible. Gonna start bracing myself when I browse bookoffs though. Hardoff I still trust.
I’d recommend it! It’s very thorough about ghost stories “real” and fictional (the first few chapters are about all the ways people think they see things) and also has plenty of shade to throw at catholics, which is something we can all enjoy.
I kinda wish I knew enough about working with APIs to schedule posts on Goblin.band (the site I’ve flocked to now that Cohost is done for), since apparently no part of the Fediverse supports that function natively. Or drafts, for that matter.
Is it common knowledge that Genius dot com has important works of philosophy and classic literature on it? I was looking for an annotated Federalist #10 and Genius came up. They’ve got Marx. They’ve got Plutarch. This blows my mind. Last time I went to Genius it was to read about the “lemonade is a popular drink” line.
Went out to a show for the first time since Covid. My friend played and I tripped up badly meeting their extremely cool friends and oh God I wish they did vasectomies but for vocal chords I would get that
Oh idk I said something directly insane. This dude recognized me and I had to ask his name. Already cool. Then, I realized he was someone who had an ongoing thing with multiple of my exes. Which of course is totally fine. However I just blurted out “Yeah I remember, you ate my leftovers.” So idk Kind of pining for the dry raspy scream lmao but thank you I’m recovering.
I’ve been watching people play UFO 50 today on twitch and it’s fascinating to see people’s different reference points for what all the different games are like.
