I haven't played *Devil May Cry 5* yet, but I find the idea of somebody like Dante aging very conceptually interesting. He's part demon, for one, and we know this affects his physiology - mostly because each game includes at least one scene of Dante getting stabbed and shrugging it off - but Dante's party boy persona clearly relies on the energy and rebellious spirit that youth affords him. For me, at least, it remains to be seen how you translate that to a visibly older character.

Red and Blue appear in the post game of Sun and Moon (the Hawaii game). Their original games released in 1996 and Sun and Moon released in 2016, 20 years later. I don't think they look like they've aged in real time but they're not far off.

I've never played any Jak and Daxter game but I can tell that Jak aged and grew a horrible goatee between games from the box art alone
