it's amazing that, over the millennium - 00s, sony managed a bunch of betamax-esque failures. minidiscs, UMDs, all those memory card formats everybody continues to hate, everything using a proprietary and flimsy USB cable. we all should hope to be so confident as sony launching a new product.
