It’s probably that micro-B was a fragile and terrible connection standard. USB-C is much sturdier.

this seems like a good opportunity to learn to sew! should be a pretty easy job and since it’s hidden in the velcro it doesn’t matter if it’s pretty.

The problem with that is it has an inner lining, so I’d either have to open that up and stitch it too afterwards or else just stitch through both layers which I’d rather not do.

Hell yeah!! They really do feel amazing. I can’t believe how cheap they are for the quality. Did not expect to fall in love with the Pro 2 analogue sticks so hard too – I’ve been loading up stick-heavy games lately just to get to use them more, lol

I was in line at the post office to pick up mail. There is poor cell reception and the line is often 10-30 minutes with impatient people so I always bring a game boy. I started playing and because there is a babg nearby with iPad on full blast and generally a bustling vibe I left the volume on.
Then a mother and her preteen daughter started making comments.
What got me was when she said something like “you should get me a gameboy… they cost six hundred dollars”
Why a seemingly 10/11/12 year old girl would say that, I guess she learned it from tiktok? I paid only $45 for this one haha
