This is a beautiful and graceful way of describing the artistic process. This forum is special where most if not all of us here create art in some way, so I’m sure many of us can relate to this feeling (in addition to the dizzying sense of release you have when you finally hand your child to the world to devour).
I hadn’t thought of the Ryu Murakami compassion before, but now that you mention it, I totally see it. Big fan of him myself—I even wrote him a letter once!
Just want to say thank you for writing this out. I personally always appreciated your posts here because you had unique taste, and its great to see some of those influences in a game released in 2025 (more people need to look to Acquire for inspiration!)
