Yo, what the fuck LUPIN III (1980, Taito)!?

Here is a 1CC of Sega’s Lupin III: The Shooting for Naomi, produced by Wow Entertainment and developed by 8ing.

There was also a **Sega’s Lupin III: The Typing** conversion but sadly neither game was ported to the Dreamcast by Sega.

here‘s another 1976 game that is licensed (or at least authorized, if there’s a difference):

Here is a cool little LSI game from Epoch, Lupin The 3rd – Part III: Sanjō! Ōgon no Ude (1984), which seems heavily inspired by Taito’s Elevator Action (1983) but with a focus on stealth, which was still fairly uncommon by 1984.

The sprites LCD prints(?) are pretty charming and in tune with the show’s key animation poses – even moreso that goofier third series with the pink jacket.

Here is Rndstranger talking about the Super Cassette Vision game posted above. He forgets to mention the arcade game that started this thread, but you guys and gals know!

Of course, in his Famidaily days, he had also covered the Famicom game published by Namco in 1987.

That video was so positive, it made me purchase the game, hehe!
