As a teen I got into VN’s and niche doujin games through an interest in anime and manga, though mostly the stuff that was popular enough to get fan translation groups and the like.

I usually don’t stay dedicated enough to particular series, but I used to be pretty into Trails/Kiseki, Megaten, Kingdom Hearts and Type-Moon stuff (before all the gacha stuff).

By day I’m a sociologist by training and current work in reseach policy and administration.
