Since much of the world isn't able to go out and see live music at the moment, how about we share some concerts or live performances we like here to have a little Insert Credit Music Festival?
I'll start with a few. The incredible YouTube channel '[The W/O/C Archive](https://www.youtube.com/c/TheWOCArchive)' regularly posts old commercials and TV shows from a massive tape collection that the user purchased a few years back. The collection also includes [several hand held camera bootlegs of entire concerts](https://www.youtube.com/c/TheWOCArchive/search?query=concert). This one was posted recently. It's Rush from one of their 1986 tours (possibly from Uniondale, NY on April 4, 1986). I know Rush is divisive, but have a look at the rest of the channel. You'll probably find something you like.

If you want something a bit different and in better quality (taped off the Toronto channel Much Music) here's The Tragically Hip performing at The Kumbaya Festival 1993 at Ontario Place, Toronto.

Here's a couple drab majesty live performances, which are very much like the kinds of shows I go to:

And then my favorite band of the last 5 years, Choir Boy:

I realize now that these are all audiotree ones but whatever!
they do capture the feeling of seeing an excellent band with 50 people in a musty or unusual room.
clips of Dang Thai Son‘s buster douglas-style victory at the 1980 Chopin competition. Supposedly this particular piece below was written when chopin’s illness was intensifying and knew he was on the way out. And will also FYI for any non-Chopin heads: this piece is nobody‘s favorite, and if you’re curious look up other recordings to contrast how much life Dang breaths into it vs how light and almost ambient some of the other renditions can be.

And he clinched it in the final round here, playing with the full orchestra (couldn't find a better upload for this part unfortunately):
ayo seriously, I somehow made $50 this week coz 2 concerts I paid for back in the days finally got officially canceled lol.
I've recently become quite fond of the japanese singer iri.

she had a digital concert the other week which I tried to get tix for, but couldnt coz the account required a Japanese phone number / SMS account ☹️
and after the show (which I've not even seen!!), she announced a tour in December!! like yo wtf Japan you're doing concerts again?!?!
this year I was supposed to go see my favorite japanese singer, Kato Miliyah, at her big 15th anniversary concert at the Budokan venue, which was announced a year before the show date. The show is in less than 2 months and they still haven't officially announced a cancellation! Thanks to Covid I haven't even bothered following up with my ticket broker, after having already paid them for the tix, though even if the show occurs in November it ain't like the country will allow me to enter
The concert was put on to boost tourisim for the city which at the time was still under a SARS warning from the World Health Organization.
With somewhere between 450,000 and 500,000 in attendance it is the largest outdoor ticketed event in Canadian history.
Yes. Combating a pandemic by cramming nearly half a million people together in close quarters.
Performances included the Have Love Will Travel Revue (Aykroyd and James Belushi), Sam Roberts, Kathleen Edwards, La Chicane, The Tea Party, The Flaming Lips, Sass Jordan, The Isley Brothers, Blue Rodeo, Justin Timberlake, The Guess Who, Rush, AC/DC, and The Rolling Stones.

well this sucks. Today we finally had an update on my aforementioned Japan concert in November.
They said the show is still going on. Again... wtf Japan?!?! but you can transfer your ticket for a digital broadcast of the show.
I've emailed my ticket broker and hope they can help with not only the transfer, but providing me the links to access the broadcast. I hope there's not some stupid japanese cell phone requirement or foreign IP issues that ultimately prevent me from seeing the show 😢
this is my favorite singer and this may be her last concert; I can't believe a pandemic took away my opportunity to experience that in person, and I know I'll always be bitter about it
The performance of « Christine » at 33:16 (and the spoken introduction just before) brings a big smile to my face.
During the initial months of quarantine she broadcast brief performances/jam sessions on her Instagram. They obviously weren't as meticulously engineered as like a real concert, but it was fun to see an artist who is ordinarily so in control of everything—sound, dance, costume, lights—playing in a more casual setting.
And in keeping with the theme of blue stage lights, this never gets old to me:
I‘m particularly fond of the 1984 After Service mixes of YMO’s songs, especially Tong Poo, Ongaku and Kai-Koh's. The whole live concert seems to be here:
not sure if anyone is into the heavy stuff on here but I love this Rain City Recorders series that sometimes gets updated on YouTube. Similar to what @exodus said above but they do a good job of capturing what these types of shows are typically like. except no mosh lol
@JJSignal#7225 Damn they all look so cool in this. Sakamoto especially. I hadn't seen this one before. I was a little disappointed to see Hosono not having a cig hanging from his lip like he does in a lot of early performances. Hopefully he had quit by this time
I often just sit down on a weekend night, turn off all of the lights, and put on a live concert from Youtube, or more often just let a playlist of live performances autoplay for an hour or so. One that I keep going back to is this full Blue Hearts concert.

On a completely different note, I also really love watching Hiromi Uehara & The Trio Project. Her energetic movements are just such a joy to watch.
