had my pizza in the toaster oven too long and now the cheese is orange and crispy, watchin' the Washington Wizards on the tele while chillin' on Insert Credit 4'ums after a day of working from home, lookin at my lil pup nap. Yep, but my favorite part of today is that I've finally gotten around to posting a little on here because it's really cool and good. I also think the format of the forum is really good. All in all, I want to invite some people I know to this place because I like it and I think they will too. And this place is way chiller than Reddit.
don‘t know ho w it will turn out and hope the reporting is inaccurate, but telling people 2k, then giving them a math lesson that it’s actually 600+1400=2000, then not giving even the 1400 to a number of people is a less than perfect idea in my opinion. I wonder if members of the republican party would raise this issue ahead of the 2022 elections….

bought a couple "borosilicate" mugs and have been using them for coffee the past few mornings. Look more orange IRL. A big change from the stoneware mug I had been using, kind of enjoying a lighter object

spent a good little while yesterday trying to talk a patient out of going back to work. Has a fucked up hand, bad infection, needs iv antibiotics every day for a month. But he’s an amazon driver and will lose his job if he’s not making deliveries. He’s trying to see if he can do dispatch instead and type with his L hand. Still a real bad idea!
just thinking about why those amazon workers want to unionize. Seemed like a nice place to work and make friends in oscar nominated film "nomad land"

@captain Yo for real? ‘Cause if you really haven’t seen it yet, it really is essential viewing. This is quite vague but let‘s just say I think it’s best to watch it without knowing why it is good, simply that it is good
@Gaagaagiins lol I‘m being a bit coy. It’s been on my to-watch list since it came out and I have done my darnedest to avoid finding anything out about it in that time, but have for a variety of dumb reasons not pushed myself to actually see it. Hearing it was cool even though you had high expectations is motivation!
@captain Ah, yes!! I felt I had it on my to-watch list for a long time too, so yeah, I think if you put it at the top of the to-watch priority list, you'll be glad you did.
