I have been looking for a proper ribbon tie for years now and despite being “the season of the ribbon tie” they just aren’t sold anywhere it’s insane. There are a few out there that are more like bow ties with really long tails (kinda like Colman Domingo’s in the picture above but his is still more ribbon-y) but they just don’t hit the right way for me. I’ve seen two options for a proper ribbon tie: (1) a literal ribbon from a craft store (doesn’t look great) (2) a $400 Saint Laurent option that’s absurd even by super luxe standards
