I staffed a demo station for the Resident Evil 0 HD rerelease at the Capcom booth a few years ago, and H. Jon Benjamin rolled up with his kids and played through it. I wanted to go up and tell him how much I loved Home Movies, but then I realized that since I was a random stranger it was basically the same thing as anyone telling him “someone somewhere loved Home Movies,” which I figured he already knew. So I just let him enjoy his family and our okay game.
While it‘s not quite candid as the others, I really enjoyed Nintendo’s cozy line of DS commercials with celebrities playing whatever game they were advertising. Here's Beyonce with Rhythm Heaven on the DSi

So cozy!
And Nicole Kidman with Brain Age having slight trouble saying Scissors to their DS Lite

It was a good series of commercials, which also included the late Robin Williams and his daughter Zelda going on about their love for Zelda. Something felt very warm and different about them. It was nice just seeing someone play the game without any bombastic advertising surrounding it outside of, "Oh it's a celebrity casually being human playing a game."
Outside of that, here's Macaulay Culkin playing some Toejam & Earl after getting dressed up to not go to or watch the Oscars.
Here's one for pretty much just @exodus : Gizmondo!
Gizmondo U.K. launch party (March 19 2005)
"The Gizmondo launch party later that evening at Piccadilly’s Park Lane Hotel was one of the most star-studded events of the year. With performances from Sting, Jamiroquai, Pharrell Williams, Clipse and Busta Rhymes, the VIP guest list was overwhelmed with an A-list line up hosted by US comedian, Tom Green, and Aussie babe favourite, Dannii Minogue. In addition to over 2000 Gizmondo fans, the who’s who of London’s trend-setting fashion, music and film scenes converged and carried the party into the small hours of the morning."
Gizmondo!! what a ridiculousness. they spent so much money on that stupid launch. I wonder if there's any footage of that child frightening tom green with one.
