The other day, Maangchi put a wasabi pea (well horseradish pea but you know what I mean) in her mouth, and then spit it out, and wagged her face around because Too Spicy.
Today she is begging my partner for them even though she has to spit them out once or twice and still wags her face a bit sometimes.

Meet Poeirinha (poeira = dust. So… Lil' dusty)
My sister and bro in law rescued her near my countryside house last monday. She was covered in bruises and had a lot of maggots in her, skinny and all. My in-law promptly cancelled his plans and took her to the vet. She is slowly recovering.
This was her on Thursday when i met her
Today, since i was near my sister's house i stopped by to check up on her (and as a handy brother, set up my sis' router)
She is so much better already, got a little weight, learned her name and where to do her business. Extremely smart and docile.
I taught her how to sit!!

YES. we love to see a dog success story!! I'm sure it will take some time for her to figure out her place (remember the 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months thing) but I hope they keep working with her!
