### Ep. 284 - Let Me Be Frank, with Simone de Rochefort
What starts as a lively episode with Polygon editor and podcaster [Simone de Rochefort](https://twitter.com/doomquasar) becomes something far more interesting when one panelist’s audio goes missing. Hosted by Alex Jaffe, with Frank Cifaldi, Tim Rogers, Brandon Sheffield, and Simone de Rochefort. Edited by Esper Quinn, original music by Kurt Feldman.

**Recommendations:** **Brandon:**[Echo Image](https://pitchblackdrive.bandcamp.com/album/compulation), [Spirit Posession](https://spiritpossession.bandcamp.com/album/of-the-sign), make more things like game stores and video stores so people can be paid to get baseline experience in a field they care about **Simone**: [Murder, She Wrote](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder,_She_Wrote) **Tim**: [Decision to Leave (2022)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decision_to_Leave), [The Little Drummer Girl](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Little_Drummer_Girl_(TV_series)), [Interview with the Vampire](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interview_with_the_Vampire_(TV_series))

@“exodus”#p113489 tim really turned something catastrophic into something memorable and wild, i was very glad to get to make this episode happen. sorry for the holdup everyone!! i am going to go collapse in bed now lol
@“connierad”#p113504 My only goal going into this episode was to make Simone laugh so hard she would nearly die. I lost the respect of the entire panel to make it happen, but I got there in Violence Island.
@“esper”#p113491 Long time listener but finally made an account and came here to comment for exactly this sentiment. This might be my favorite episode ever…
I was hoping this would be like the Important if True episode where Nick Breckon had to go back and re-record all his lines, and I am not disappointed.
Brandon hating the Criterion Channel is simultaneously not surprising to me and also one of the most frustrating things I've ever listened to. Thanks for making me feel bad about wanting to watch some movies!
