The worst change to Smash Ultimate was that they removed taunting from online matchmaking because it contributed to toxic gamer culture (stupid, smash taunts are silly and fun and online is always going to be toxic), but then everyone just teabagged instead. I’d much rather have Zelda wave goodbye to me as she kicks my ass than have Shulk double crouch every 5 seconds.

I haven’t played Ultimate regularly in a while but I like to play Roy/Chrom and the Belmonts. Some of the DLC characters are stupidly good but I’ve never really bothered to learn them, otherwise I’d probably be a Joker main. Are you a Ness player?

Actually no! i don’t have a main per-se. I like playing Falco, Marth, Captain Falcon and Samus the most, but i do play any non-fgc characters.
I run my locals every two weeks too! I usually go one of those or random.
We also run a secondary bracket for everyone that went 0-2 or 1-2 called “The Trash King”. This week i won the trash king for the first time!

You’re probably better than me. I’m good enough to smoke all my friends and family but I’m well past my tourney level prime unfortunately. Usually when I do play Smash I just hit random and roll with it, partially to make it more fair but mostly because I just like to mix it up. The only characters I hate are the overly weird ones like Duck Hunt and Minecraft dude. I also dislike Bayonetta. The FGC characters are all fun imo but Terry is the only one I ever tried to play. They just have a lot of inputs and frankly I’m not good at fighting games that require me to remember a lot of stuff.
