Just came here to say I was an Any Austin fangirl before he became popular.

When Brandon mentioned the game with a different title if you held certain buttons. I was sure he was going to mention Tuff E Nuff. I’m not sure why I thought that, other than that Tuff E Nuff is known to have other titles.

The example Austin eventually settled on is legit just Tanya the Evil. Props if that wasn’t a bit lol.

For question three, Austin’s answer reminded me of this aspect of Undertale I think about a lot.

In the village Snowdin there is a wolf throwing ice off of a conveyor belt and into the river. You follow that river through the next two areas, occaisionally seeing the slightly melted blocks of ice, until you enter the lava area Hotland. There the ice melts to cool down the core that powers the entire civilisation. The wolf is an essential worker, tirelessly turning to throw ice, just because the conveyor belt was a little too short.

Also was surprised Frank didn’t say he wanted to be the NPC that tells you the name of the town for question 4. Playing against type.

Excited to listen to this one. Austin is great. I hope he talks about meal prep and underwear!

I feel called out by Brandon for the comment about 5 people getting sucked into weird Sega evolution systems. I definitely still have a gamecube save of sonic adventure 2 with a chao garden with a chao for every combination of devil/neutral/angel + each specialization possible…

Oh man how did I not make the connection with the voice right away. I had watched Egg Busters before but… stopped? Like that was a long time ago. Time to check out the channel again!

I’d be a rando standing in the streets in a mid-large city with their finger on the pulse having new dialogue after every single story event

Shame no one brought up Mt. Kolts from Final Fantasy VI, where you get Sabin… you know, the character who can suplex a full-sized ghost train while running away from it at full speed.

SimEarth! It’s right there! And yeah, I know, it doesn’t look pretty like Planet Earth but it’s in the name!

I was definitely thinking about God of War 2018 for this one. Half the game is about climbing one mountain.

Well, all of Celeste is about climbing one mountain

I guess GoW 2018 is 50% about climbing one mountain, and 50% about climbing a 2nd mountain when you find out it’s the wrong mountain. So 100% mountain, but splitting between two mountains lets Celeste win. I bow down in awe of our mountainous power Jaffe.

You know that reminds me of a certain somebody who also had some wild ideas about how mankind could better get along…
