Yes, there’s exceptions (my girlfriend pointed out the ASMR cutting game) but that’s no fun. Post a game and vote on 'em. I’ll start with the other thing my girlfriend brought up - Little Kitty Big City, which I say is pretty cleanly an Earthbound.

Are Butter Dorks (aka Rain Jerks) and Wire Tripper games in the Earthbound format or the Cave Story format? “Neither” is not an option.

I cannot agree with the Cave Story voters here. Cave Story is all about wonderful traversal. Jumping, landing (with that wonderfully small landing sound), floating, propelling. These games don’t even have jumps! K-Bones is making Earthbounds.
I dare say Necrosoft has made neither an earthbound nor a cave story! Gunhouse? Neither. Oh deer? Neither. Hyper Gunsport? You could stretch to cave story since there’s a gun but I don’t think anybody who likes cave story would note similarites.
You could try to say demonschool is an earthbound but only in that they are both (different kinds of) rpg. Curious to hear arguments to the contrary but since I have never played earthbound and only played cave story for about 15 minutes is it possible I am immune??

While this would have caused said round to start, I did notice something which wasn’t there before:
Pop up to show total count of votes per slice. Not sure when this was added but for now, it has saved you some fisticuffs!
Pie charts are bad for data viz because humans are (generally) bad at estimating radial proportions vs linear visualizations.
Thus, I was itching to start a fight!
Unless said propotion can be shown as a numerical value against the total. A pie chart with two measures can be used but if pushed, I’d go with a donut chart simply because it’s cleaner and saves space in a visualisation as you can include the overall total as well.
I haven’t even had coffee let alone started work so no fights from me!
