Falcom is remaking Trails in the Sky! It’s behind the back 3D and they appear to be changing how the battle system works to no longer be grid-based. The trailer music doesn’t quite do the soundtrack justice, I just want to see more at Tokyo Game Show!
I love seeing Estelle again, this is making me so happy.
Also Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma looks kinda good, there’s a edgy looking Atelier and Tales of Graces f is being remastered. Clearly the Nintendo Switch’s best days are ahead of it. We have a whole PS3 generation of JRPGs to look forward to.

CvS2!!!
Suikoden remasters finally releasing early next year. After playing the first one earlier this year I actually think the footage here looks pretty good. It has a much lighter touch than HD-2D.

I wanna see that English script on the Suikoden remasters. Love those games but those scripts are not ready for showtime in 2024. It would not be difficult to make those games significantly more readable and therefore better, but it’s Konami, so.

It’s out on Steam, I’ve been playing it. They replaced the Magic Seals in Dawn with QTEs. That’s all I wanted, really.

One other little thing I noticed that’s exciting to me is that Tetris Battle Gaiden is actually getting a real release in English as part of that Tetris Forever package. That game is so much fun to play with a friend.

I think I remember them saying that they retranslated Suikoden 2 for these remasters? It will be interesting to see how different it is. I hope people on here will be down to play some CVS2 online, that’s pretty exciting!
