I’ve suceeded for the most part at unplugging from toxic news cycles
But of course I heard about pocket camps closure and plans to serve an offline version.
So in finding that interesting, I stumbled upon this video explaining some proposed legislation that is quite good!

Nintendo Forecast is pretty good, and often digs deeper into things that other news channels don’t. He is a bit of fresh air in the Nintendo news community to be honest.

A few of my friends/colleagues released a game a couple of days ago. They’ve been working on it on and off for the last 8 years so it’s really cool to see it finally release.
My favourite part of it is all the pre-rendered sprite work. Everything in the game is quad/plane/sprite but has been modeled & animated in 3D before hand and then captured from multiple angles. It makes it a really cool world to explore.

It’s been a while since I saw such a massive bomb hit the market. Not entirely sure what to make of it. The weird gamers™ seem to think that it failed because the game is woke, as they do – but there is obviously more to it than that. I can only speak for myself, but since I first saw it on that Playstation showcase I’ve thought it looked a bit unappealing. There’s something about the character design that begs to be less realistic. It could use some flare, some pizzazz.
I don’t think they’re gonna figure this one out. If people didn’t even play it during open beta for free, then I don’t think going free to play is enough. This might just not be appealing to people.

I’m long Marathon actually coming out. I think it’ll take more time to come out than anyone expects so I’ll bet the “over” on any rumored date right now, but I think Bungee/Sony realize that Destiny 2 is long enough in the tooth that it needs to be replaced and I think Marathon might be it.
