Not exactly a fan translation but definitely in the same wheelhouse.

These translations were funded by the Slovak Arts council, and they should be playable in any ZX Spectrum emulator.
I think I've seen other people mention it around the forum here and there during its development, but the Bloodborne PSX demake is finished and released

@ācaptainā#p56614 some interesting choices being made in the localization there! this would be a fun way to play through the game, potentially.
Not a fan translation but certainly an āā¦other contributionā, has anyone had a chance to look at the RE4 HD Remaster yet?

@āwhatsarobotā#p56615 Iād certainly like to try it myself. Iām intrigued by the idea of the English dub though if Iām going to play every other one in Japanese I suppose Iād like to see (or hear) what it was like in the very beginning
@"rejj"#p56620 Thank you for reminding meāI can finally try this now that I have a PC that can run the game!
also unsure what's going on with this person! radio silence for some of my most anticipated translationsā¦

People might know Telefang better in their bootleg incarnations as Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Jade.
The folks at https://telefang.net/ have disassembled and translated the game with incredibly professional results. They even flexed and threw in a proportional-width font.

Nintendoās WIP console emulators for Nintendo Switch have leaked
they are making extensive use of fan projects from the same homebrew scene they treat very poorly in general:
just goes to show that emulation has never been a black & white issue like nintendo lawyers spin it, and **these days** work from the people is far more important that whatever corporate BS nintendo produces themselves.
MVG is skeptical

I donāt recall where I stumbled upon this so it may have already been posted on IC, but thereās a fan-made upgrade for Maze of Galious which takes advantage of MSX2 capabilities. Maze of Galious is the game that informed the design of La Mulana.
Thrill Drive 3 has been made to work on PCSX2 and PS2 hardware. https://archive.org/details/thrill-drive-3-1
Never heard of this before but it's a Konami arcade racer.

Thrill Drive is the game Criterion shamelessly ripped off with Burnout.
I really wish we could have one central hub for rom hacking
I wish everybody could just get along
romhacking.net attempts to do this, and does it very well
but there's still [lots](https://ffhacktics.com/) of individual [scenes](https://metroidconstruction.com/hacks.php) with [tons ](https://www.pokemonhacking.com/)of hacks that aren't promoted anywhere but within their moors and I find that very annoying. I guess there's a benefit to multiple hubs, but when I haven't found 90% of them, and when I'm looking for hacks of a specific game I forget that there's a specific hub for just that game, it's annoying.
https://romhacking.com/
Here's a newly created hub. They have Kaze. It seems like 100% SM64 hacks.
in other news, coincidentally my family computer I've had since 2008 arrived back in the mail today, I had shipped it out for a pro to take a look at it since i totally botched a mod.
and I was expecting it this weekend, so *all day yesterday* I was organizing my famicom roms by year of release, something I do for more curated selections on other flashcarts like GBA, but had been meaning to do it for famicom for a long time... it's a lot of work lol.
anyways, the coincidental cherry on top is an unreleased famicom game from 1986 was discovered and dumped this morning!
