Yeah the beta absolutely sold me on this game. Absolutely love what they've done with it.
Finally installed Fightcade on my computer. I can see putting a lot of time in to it. The first game I fired up was Armed Police Batrider. Followed that up with some SFII Championship. Very excited to poke around some more.

So wanting to get into Melty Blood and learning it was based on a visual novel called Tsukihime made me go, āHuh, sounds neat! I will play that before to understand what this game is based off of!ā Oh boy, Tsukihime is a ride. I was not expecting a horror fantasy thriller game based on the visual aesthetic and character designs of Melty Blood, but that is what I got. It has some genuinely horrifying (and wildly uncomfortable) stuff and moments in it, but I am fascinated by its story and weird/interesting lore. I also cannot play Melty Blood until I've finished the last two routes (I have heard those are the best/most horrifying) because I tried booting up Actress Again and immediately the roster screen is just a giant spoiler and anyone else who has played Tsukihime knows what I mean.
Has anyone else here played Tsukihime because of Melty Blood?

about the street fighter 6 demo (playing on ps4):
the tutorial you get when you boot up the game actually got me in the habit of grab breaking, which is something I'd never done semi-regularly before. neat! also i connected to the unique systems of the game a lot more than i ever did with SFV. i think i'm really gonna like this.
also i'm not touching world tour until the game comes out, and i won't elaborate why! (i don't really know why)

I'm definitely looking forward to street fighter VI. they look like they're back on track to me, and that janky world mode looks great, and maybe I can just forget V ever existed, aside from that first absolutely batshit Capcom Cup when nuckeldu and ricki ortiz were in the finals, which was great.
