Great to see love for the switch port. My first From experience was playing Dark Souls 1 on switch. Beat the whole thing using the stock joy-cons in the weird grip thing. That was the second game I played on switch (after Mario Odyssey) and the first one where I got to live the dream of playing my big-person video game on the TV and then taking it with me on the go. It was awesome!!

That's the way to do it! They give you that stuff for a reason. Despite what the internet discourse often suggests, I found that it took me a solid two games before I got to the point where I could overcome the harder challenges without items, summoning, overleveling, or some combination.
If you like exploration, you've got some good moments ahead.
@“deepspacefine”#p111273 Mario to dark souls sounds like it came from the most chaotic sommelier, I love it. Funnily I died more times on the true last level of Mario Odyssey than I did to anything in demon's souls, whatever that means.
I think the switch joycon grip setup would be more comfortable for dark souls than the original ps3 controller was, haha.

I'm feeling the itch, gonna (re)play some armored cores. Not sure which ones yet. There's a bunch I've never played before, so the PS3 games are on the list for sure (perhaps except V, or only a cursory glance at it -- multiplayer only isn't all that interesting to me, and also I'll be emulating and that'll be a pain regardless)

They know how to give us CRI100 but will only take us there in half the remaining distance at a time.

Couldn't play V and VD though I really wish I could, they look _super_ interesting, although naturally the multiplayer centric aspect makes them the least replayable and also they don't emulate well.
