Games where the console is on the cover

In the Japanese The Typing of the Dead box art you can barely see a corner of the Dreamcast strapped to the guy’s back. Or at least that’s what it looks like.

Might be a stretch but it looks like this version of tetris shows him holding the Super Gam*boy II rather than the controller.

If you don’t speak Italian you can briefly live in a universe where there’s just a cool smoking game for the DS

I assume (like Game Boy Gallery above) the intent of this question is that the console you would play the game on is shown on the package, so I am forgoing retro console collections like Famicom Remix and Genesis Classics that only featured another console.

Nintendo DS was the queen of this, due to it’s expanded genres, audiences and the weird ways in which one could use the console.

This below is an official Nintendo game. You can see it at that new Nintendo Museum in Kyoto. It can even share information with WiiFit on the Wii! I expect most Americans wouldn’t know about it since it was a European exclusive. Bonus points to Carol for being hip and holding a then brand new Nintendo DSi.

One special case is the Nintendo Switch which, like a lizard or xenomorph, can temporarily sever some of it’s components and still survive. You see tiny controllers, I see little bits of the console being toyed with until they inevitably return to their home cell.

Speaking of FitBoxing, you know who’s a big fat wuss? Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star. The concept of the game is amazing, and the image promo went all in…

… But then they chickened out for the package.

Near miss: Itoi Shigesato no Bass Tsuri №1.

I did specify “the console itself” so joycons are not enough for me!!
