Games where the console is on the cover

I posted this gunpei cover for random game Saturday, and someone was wondering how many games have the console on the cover. I can only think of two, and the other is anthropomorphized, but I’ll count it.

Gunpey for psp is like the ultimate early 2000s cover, and certainly clearly depicts a psp.

Star paridier has a pc engine on the front - it’s the ship in the game after all.

I feel like there are some famicom ones? But maybe not because of copyright stuff? There’s plenty with peripherals on the front - most eyetoy games have it on there - but the console itself? Let’s find some more!

I feel like a lot of games with custom peripherals do this kinda thing!

Custom peripherals and gimmicks will dominate this thread

I’m going to take easy points from handhelds with tool like games. Daigasso! Band-Brothers P and KORG DS-10+

I like KORG’s adherence to the system’s stylus too.

Brain age must demonstrate how you can draw the number 2 or 5 on your console:

The only version without it is the satanic version

ok so in my stylist for the psp in the bundle box containing the camera you can see a real lady holding a psp and a cartoon lady holding a psp but on the actual cover you only have the real lady

Not the full console, but this variant of the My Stop Smoking Coach cover features the DS stylus touching the ashtray.

Maybe this is just designer brain, but I feel like the little callout bugs like these maybe don’t necessarily count in the same spirit, if only because it’s not part of the actual key art, it’s added after the fact in publishing. Not trying to draw a line or gatekeep or anything, just thinking out loud lol.
