Good evening! What are you listening to? đŸ„ƒ

@“whatsarobot”#p93126 I think you should too! The song I shared is from their latest album which I'm not super familiar with yet, but their previous album New Levels New Devils has some real good ones.

@“Toph”#p93135 thanks. that’ll be my starting point then.

La QuĂȘte" Jacques Brel

this is really, really excellent especially if it's snowing and you have to drive for an hour on a dark country road through the forested hills

@“pasquinelli”#p93573 lol I was just thinking of Kid Koala yesterday!!

my favorite genre of music :)

“Can't Stop The Silence” COMPLEX

jazz!

I used to get my news from Twitter, now I only get it from Hayley Williams

"I don't like good taste, I don't like common sense,
I like those who are hungry, I like those who burn"

As well as this:

And this:

The last two mostly because YouTube slaps them into a mix I just click on when I start getting into a "I don't want to think about anything and focus." work mood.

I'm feeling a ton of things discovering Advantage Lucy. It feels like listening to Tigermilk for the first time all over again. Perfect twee songs. The sound of clean clothes suddenly coming from a near apartment.

For the first time in a few years, we have a working record player again. Listening to Ivan Rebroff records, like the lord intended.

something possessed me to listen to pretty hate machine tonight. when terrible lie came on i was taken back to freshman year of high school, to typing class where, when i finished my work, i would check if anything was new on nineinchnails.net.

it's pretty amazing how much it has imprinted itself on my brain.

i can't post a song though, they're all too embarrassing.

but if you need a wallpaper, nineinchnails.net has you covered.

I got two albums I highly recommend!!!

Sophie and Peter Johnston - S/T

Pristinely produced and arranged 80s pop for any fans of Ice Choir, Scritti Politti, Strawberry Switchblade, etc... Wistful in every way you want a sophisti-pop record to be.
