The next Steam sale should start around Thanksgiving next week. Thereā€™s a good chance it will be discounted again.

i would really love it on switch (like to play VNs in bed sometimes) but iā€™m confused as to whether any of the versions on there are the first game

I was wondering the same thing too when I picked it up on Steam. The Switch has the remake of the first game, itā€™s there as Steins;Gate Elite. I donā€™t know how different it is from the original, beyond it having anime cutscenes taken from the TV adaptation.

I would absolutely recommend the original VN over Elite.

I played SG on the Vita back in the day and it worked very well if you donā€™t mind that it has a smaller screen than the Switch.

I bought Senko no Ronde 2 a while ago on Steam. I love the concept, but something about the controls keeps me from loving the game. Itā€™s weird, but it makes me yearn for Cyber Sled at the arcade, which I havenā€™t played in at least 28 years.
