A monthly event in where the ever-growing Insert Credit community can come together and create art based on a rotating topic!
Some of you are already familiar with how this works but for the amazing folks that have recently joined this forum; last year on the 21th of March, Insert Credit user @"SuperEffective"#337 organized a weekly art jam that lasted for 5 weeks, and some pretty cool stuff came out of it.
21 Days ago forum member @"jaws"#283 wrote [a heartwarming post](https://forums.insertcredit.com/d/664-insert-credit-art-jam/241) in where he told us how he, inspired by his poems written for the Art Jam:
“decided to apply to MFA programs and I managed to get accepted into a fully funded school (non-CIA edition…I hope) where I’m gonna have the chance to study, teach, and most importantly write poetry”.
That was so beautiful and inspiring that I decided to revive the Art Jams and since some of y’all expressed interest here we are, for some reason it took me 21 days to get this started but hey, we are starting on the first day of the month! (at least in my time zone)
In honor of @"SuperEffective"#337 who hasn’t been active in quite a while (rumor has it that we lost him to marriage), here’s the premise he originally wrote:

This is not necessarily a contest, but more like a weekly art challenge/show-and-tell. The plan is to introduce a new prompt every Sunday to make a piece of art to. To participate, you can simply post anything from a drawing, sculpture, crochet, animation, writing, a sick beat, heck, why not even a cake! You can post whenever you’re finished, and I’m sure none will mind if you’re a bit late as this thread is all in good fun. Heck, if you’re loving the prompt, post more than one! Send any suggestions you think would be fun to do in the next week, if you have any fun ideas!
The only thing that’s changing is that now the topics are going to last for a whole month! Maybe later we’ll switch the format to bi-weekly or maybe we can alternate between bi-weekly and monthly, that’s the plan for now at least.
You can create whatever you want and whatever you consider art and share it here with everyone! It can be video game related if you want or it can be the total opposite of video game related, you can interpret the prompts however you like. It’s YOUR choice!
Choosing a topic for the debut of this revival was pretty hard, at first I was going to make it something silly and game related, but recently I decided to make it something more open and positive, so without further ado, the topic for this month's Art Jam is:

I hope the topic isn’t too cheesy and y’all can make something cool out of it. I’m terrible deciding and coming up with stuff so I created a google form where you can leave suggestions for the topic of the next Art Jam.
