I’m playing AT this time as I just don’t want to press the extra buttons and all of the control presets are awful.

I hope and expect to see at least a 1:18.5 posted by someone before the challenge is over. This video includes an overlay with my controller inputs, in case that is interesting or useful.

I really had to work for this, I was stuck in 1:25 jail for a long time. So yeah mad respect for the 1:21 and below gang!
While I didn’t have the disc I found something else to catch the vibe.

Some improvement, but on emulator instead of real hardware this time (wife‘s hogging the TV and playing something else). Ngl feels a bit like cheating with somewhat clearer visibility.

Like Liam Lawson I will be spending the week of the Japanese Grand Prix in an unexpected place, so this may be my last attempt.

So excited for Yuki to get a shot at home. Just hope the car isn’t as undrivable for him.

I’d LOVE to be wrong, but I think he’ll do slightly better than Lawson while still in that general results area - the car is clearly very specifically designed for Verstappen and if you’re not Verstappen then you’ll have a hard time making it work. And that’s ignoring the huge pressure of being his teammate.

My prediction is that we’ll see Bottas or Sainz at Red Bull by the end of the year.

No April Fools here, congrats to all who raced for a time and big props to the winner: @billy with a lightning fast 1:18.871! @rejj almost got there, just a few frames off with a 1:18.838, followed by @穴 with 1:20.571. Thanks to all who participated! Hope folks had fun! Can’t wait to see what @billy picks for the next TIME ATTACK in (less than) 2 weeks!

Did not expect to win. I gave it everything I had and basically fluked my best performance. Couldn’t get under 1:19.2 on any subsequent attempts. I Rosberged it, but I’ll take it!

I guess the next round starts on Sunday the 13th! I’ll actually be away with very limited internet access around then, so let’s get things in place before I leave.

What kind of game would we like to try next?
