In an act of retail therapy in light of the recent election results I decided to buy myself an Xbox One for the BC and I got a couple for it too

Unfortunately I realized Kane & Lynch 1 isn’t backwards compatible and Ninety Nine Nights which I was excited to play isn’t either

While it’s nice that some titles are backwards compatible, it is annoying that not all (or super majority are). That’s a bummer about those two games, as they’d be fun to play!

But hope you enjoy the games ya’ got that are. :sun_with_face:

I been seeing people putting Xbox One X consoles on marketplace for pretty cheap ~$100. And I could use a cheap Bluray player.

Any of you out there who own one, is PacMan CE backwards compatible? This game is the ONLY reason I keep my xbox 360 plugged in. I still play this perfect game on Sunday afternoons between me and 3 other guys on the leaderboards. I’ve never met them, but for like 10 years the same handful of names always sit on the weekly scores, lol.

The real reason I want an XBone, has anyone played Battle Garegga and Dangun Feveron for it? Are they good ports?

If the Series X was smaller I’d look at that, but it’s so big, it won’t fit in my entertainment center. And the Series S doesn’t have a disk drive so that’s in the rubbish.

I have apparently had the wrong impression for three years that it was delisted everywhere in favor of DX+, but that’s just the PS3 version! It is in fact compatible with Xbox One.

I’ve tried all those later versions, but the original CE is just the most beautiful game. 5 minute Championship mode is such a jam.

I know regular CE has received various ports, but there’s always something off about each one, new bugs, wrong speed, odd cornering. You know how fightman players can only play original arcade versions? I am that way with CE, I can only play the x360 version for silly peculiarities.

If anything I think they should’ve continued the backwards compatibility project. Closing that down was a huge loss. I get that some titles might not be easy to get due to licensing and the fact that other companies have to play ball, but damn… Over 500 is alright, but I wish I didn’t always have to look up a list whenever I am out shopping for old Xbox games, haha.

On a positive note I think the selection they have is pretty good for the most part. And honestly, it’s a huge step beyond whatever Sony has ever done.

You really got some bangers there though. I am still looking for Ridge Racer 6 for a good price. Surprisingly hard to find over here apparently.
