Colour_thief recorded this short video on how to do a basic 5 chain+getting a billion points, and it super opened my eyes and now I'm regularly doing 4+ chains easily:
In tonight's Cleopatra Fortune searching, I was surprised to find a copy of the Dreamcast Cleopatra Fortune for less than $300 until I realized:

It was just for the cover?? A sample cover used for stores?

- scanned the CF art from the Arcadia issue, the CF instruction sheet, and the CF Saturn packaging & manual but I still need to organize and upload them
- EDIT: I forgot I drew Patrako and also an edit with Patrako holding an Egret Mini BECAUSE I WAS PRAYING CLEOPATRA FORTUNE WOULD BE ON THERE, BUT IT WADSN"T i can't believe this utter ebetrayal i mean why would anyone play any other F3 game except cleopatra fortune come onnnn ghdafajfaa

I only made like 10 though because I figured only 4 people would buy it. I was right!!! I drew each person who bought one a little Patrako doodle:

Wow those Megaten friends are really cool. It wonāt appease your grievance but technically Patrako is inside the Egret II Mini, thanks to Puchi Carat, so your drawing is not irrelevant.
I've become quite a fan of Cleopatra Fortune Plus recently and registered on this forum just to post in this thread.
Earlier in the year I obtained a netdimm for my SEGA Naomi Universal cabinet and while I wasn't expecting much from this game I was really enjoying it so much that ever since the cabinet changed from being for playing Guilty Gear or CvS2 and pretty much turned into a dedicated Cleopatra Fortune Plus cabinet where I don't want to change the game as that would mean losing my high score board.
By accident I discovered if you hold both the 1 and 2 buttons during the story cut-scene at the start (you can press start to skip it still) and until the game starts you get an alternative BGM, though it resets back to normal after the level 50 cut-scene if you do not repeat the 'code' again.
Finally managed my first 1cc of the story mode last night live on twitch and uploaded it to youtube for prosperity:

It is such a shame the Taito F3 Cleopatra Fortune is so expensive though as I do have a Taito F3 motherboard already and want to try it out, but man the cost of that doesn't even compete compared with asking prices of the NAOMI GDROM....
whoa, thatās neat stuff about the alternate bgm! I had no idea. and congrats on the 1cc! Iām personally a big Mystery Mode fan but Iāve never made it all the way through it (Iām trying not to cheat).
what with the skyrocketing F3 prices I've been thinking of getting an F3 multicart basically... people flash an F3 cart with a bunch of roms and add a selector bios thing... I've not tried one or seen it in action but I HAVE seen them for sale. I'm verrrrrrrrry curious. Anybody tried that out?
The Taito F3 Game that came with my motherboard originally was a Puzzle Bobble 2 conversion to Puzzle Bobble 4, so after I bought the legitimate game I ended up figuring out how to convert that myself to something else that I'd never realistically be able to afford and changed it into an Elevator Action Returns.
So I suppose I could easily make Cleopatra Fortune conversions *if* I wanted to.
I'll keep an eye out for a Taito F3 game that's as already had some tampering to do this with as I personally would hate to alter a legitimate game.
@āSutenekoā#p46220 Oh yeah, I mean rather than one game flashed to one other, folks seem to be doing essentially full romsets on one cart. I haven't really seen much about this other than folks selling them though.
Itās a darksoft taito f3 multi that you have likely seen but sadly people are using legitimate F3 game cases to house them and throwing out the ācheapā title PCBās.
I'm not a fan of the multi-hardware in general and game changing usually requires a power on/off.
The asking price though of around £350-£400 feels not worth it to me as I'd rather just buy an original cart at that level and I already have most of the other Taito F3 titles I wanted already.
Naomi via Net Dimm has really been the exception since it was a built in functionality and even then I'd swap out the netdimm for an original cart or GD-ROM when I have access to them.
Curious about purchasing a PS1 Cleopatra Fortune, though I'd probably end up with a PAL copy as that is what is mostly available to me.
@āSutenekoā#p46190 Wow, I love the way Plus looks! That hi-res art and dancing Patrako are really funā¦I have to figure out how to get this running in MAME or something (actual arcade hardware is still a bit of a bridge too far right nowā¦)
