i think what i debated with myself was if a joke weapon had to be effective or not. Mr Toots is essentially the most powerful weapon in the game as it’s a plasma beam without cooldowns, and i wasn’t sure if it was required that the weapons also have joke effects.
i just remembered that you can unlock it a lot sooner than the end of the game too, it’s well hidden away in one of the early levels
Ahh, gotcha. Well, I would like to establish that joke weapons of all strengths are still cool and I at least would love to see them! I think both having a joke weapon that does nothing and also a joke weapon that is the most OP thing in the game are both hilarious

I’m guessing fish are even more prevalent in Japanese developers lives and so they end up in their creations more? Whatever the reason actually is, I am down for silly fish stuff in games

Its just a reskin of Helter Skelter, serves no real in game purpose besides showing off your love of bananas.
You can also get the Megaman Mega Buster but that actually has unique properties like letting you run and shoot at the same time.
