@HeavenlyHalberd This is my favorite song, I was really into it when I first heard it in a Zuntata album, but it also felt very familiar. YMO tones aside because ZUNTATA, it has a part that feels very close to Masayoshi Tanaka's Nagisa-Moderato (at 1:15 minutes in).

This song feels like it should have been a boss battle song, but it's literally used once and for like, 5 seconds in one specific part of the game. What a waste! Especially since Fang's actual theme is (while it has a good melody) poorly arranged.

@JJSignal I got Sonic Superstars on a Black Friday deal (it unfortunately came out days before Mario Wonder, which is one of the greatest 2D platformers ever made IMO, and unfortunately for Sonic, this game would have been a day one buy otherwise) and I am so glad to know this lives up to the legacy of amazing Sonic soundtracks. Can't wait to play!

Have been digging into the Megami Tensei Gaiden: Last Bible OSTs since Atlus added them to Spotify earlier this week… lots of standouts but this is my favorite at the moment. Weirdly enough it invokes a similar feeling as some of those well known tracks from Donkey Kong Country to me.

It's the season for me to listen to Mega Man 8 and X4's soundtrack a lot, but I somehow always forget about the US credits music to 8 which is super good and chill. There's sort of a mellow wistfulness to it that I really enjoy.
