small cheesy tip i have is to begin the interview with something that just happened, like “oh I’m good! i just ate a tuna sandwich for lunch.” this is an easy way to get some small talk that deflates the tension in the room.
also, having been on the other side plenty of times, the interviewer will be just as anxious for _you_ to like them.

Nice, I went through that one a few years back. I watched _Zeta_ right after and it was quite an experience. If you haven't already I highly recommend watching _Zeta_ as soon after as you can manage since it's in many ways a direct continuation of _MSG._

I wanted to not mention it until I was through the training period but I got a job at a bakery this month and my first day is tomorrow and I'm all nerves and have decided that I could use some good vibes from the community. (I will not be baking.)

i might have the opportunity to move overseas (usa -> eu) for my job and there’s a lot of fear and anxiety mixed with the excitement. not a bad problem to have, of course, but would appreciate words of wisdom for anyone who’s been in the same spot.
