I’m wary myself. I have read the same thing, there’s a great reddit post about it all here https://www.reddit.com/r/DaftPunk/comments/1gh7gr4/interstella_5555_remaster_faqdiscussion_thread/ as it’s got a lot of fans questioning exactly what they’ve done and which version it was done to.
I’d still see it even with possible flaws than not at all, even though I’m unable to go this time. I’ve seen it enough at home to know it with my eyes closed, but the experience through a much better sound system alone would be worth it.
If someone has never seen it, it’d be a great experience regardless of the enhancements, which may just be cleaning it up and making it look newer.
I did manage to get the vinyl though, but not the gold one. That’s going up on the wall!!!
