Never snow time 2024 (southern hemisphere please interact)

@“Tradegood”#p154501 every time I am in The Woods around these parts I invariably say “pretty good graphics they got here” at some point.

Bee bringer

Talking of never snow, this Swiss ski resort did not open once during the season

It‘s too hot right now, my dogs and i are sluggish

According to Sao Paulo’s University (USP), it's the warmest march in 91 years.

I literally cannot work in this weather

@“[marxseny]”#p157960 jeez, 91 degrees and raining… Miserable

@“exodus”#p157982 it stays sultry all day, before and after the rain …it‘s my least favourite weather and the major reason i don’t visit north Brazil ever

@“marxseny”#p157987 Also just realizing how you all abbreviate Saturday - no wonder Sunday is the day of rest!

sex day

@“Tradegood”#p154501 whenever I see light bouncing of a brightly colored object and projecting the color into the room I say to myself “woaa they have pretty good ray tracing in this room”

@“穴”#p157993 A long running joke (with myself) is saying “wow, look at these graphics” when I got on a hike. “Good draw distance today” etc

@“exodus”#p157994 I accidentally thought “life is the ultimate HUD-less experience” on a hike once and now it constantly pops into my head when I'm in the woods.

@“wickedcestus”#p158007 yeahhhh that‘s the stuff! Check out the framerate on life! My fans didn’t even turn on!

@“MoH”#p157992 sex to u

My dad sent me this picture from Usuahia a couple days ago, he went for the week. It is the southernmost city before reaching Antartica, they got nice weather.

@“[bebador]”#p158059 ah man. Is it not supposed to be snowing there usually? I thought it was, but now I see all those trees……

@“exodus”#p158109 well its still summer, its not so cold at the moment minimum drops to about 5 celcius. I think than maybe 20 years ago it would have been a little bit colder. But during the rest of the year yes, extremely cold and lots of snow

It’s been hot and dry (in terms of rain at least, it’s also been pretty humid a lot of the time) here for what feels like forever. We had a record number of days over 40C (104F) in February. Things are cooling down, forecast for the next week is high 20s. I’m looking forward to winter, when I can stop worrying about sunburn and sweating and start worrying about my roof leaking.

It never snows here. The temperature drops below freezing for an hour or so before dawn once or twice a year, that’s as close as it gets.

remembering when I saw one of those circular Death Stranding rainbows IRL

I’m not ready for summer.
The first weekend of June foreshadows the chaos that is coming to venice beach. It is starting to feel like it did before covid-- meaning an unimaginable number of people coming here to be really stupid.
The first weekend of june was already very draining. Auntie fell off her bicycle and broke her ankle. I have had a lot of trouble with cars on my bicycle.
I don’t get to wear anything besides shorts and t-shirts now. First world problems yes.
I am changing gears and going to go with the flow better instead of fighting it. At least it’s not as hot as it was last summer when I was living in downtown LA for a gig as a stay-in weed security guard.
But also, I really wish it would rain. hard. It won’t, until december probably. I miss the rain so badly. So whenever I’m at home, I’m blasting thunderstorm sounds really loudly, and it really helps.
I’m going to washington for two weeks. That’s gonna be great to get away for a while.

i’m in the southern hemisphere but we’re having a bit of an out of season heatwave here. it’s not terribly hot but it’s warmer than it usually is at this time of year. winter is starting next week and here i am comfortably in a short sleeved shirt.

it still cools down significantly at night, so that brings it back down to earth a bit
